Artist Profile: Igor Wolski

Wolski is a freelance comic artist and illustrator based in Poland and has worked across mobile games, movie production, board games and commercials.

His illustrations have intricate penmanship and a unique visual aesthetic, they cover many popular films, games and anime.

Augmented Reality Projection Mapping: Eurovision Song Contest – Russia

This is Russia’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, the song is ‘You Are the Only One’ by Sergey Lazarev.

The performance features some fantastic projection mapping techniques, where 3d space is emulated by projecting the render onto a blank surface and enhanced by the singer interacting with it.

The story of “Cocolors” takes place hundreds of years after an eruption of Mt. Fuji caused a massive disaster. Everyone must live deep underground, and wear large masks and protective clothing covering the entire body.

In this harsh environment, two young boys named Aki and Fuyu live. The two boys join a recovery team that ventures out to the outside world.
